The problemSorun

Platform teams get the same requests again and again: create a resource, change a setting, run a routine job. Each request waits for a person, and each manual run is a chance for a mistake. Finding cloud roles abroad that offer visa sponsorship means reading hundreds of postings, checking each employer against sponsor registers and adapting the CV every time. An incident worth tellingAnlatmaya değer bir olay

Free tiers are a design constraint. One day every page failed: the job list read about 176,000 database rows per request and used up the daily quota of 5 million reads. I added the missing index, split the query into a narrow sort followed by a detail read of one page, cached the heavy aggregations, and put a row-read meter on every response. The budget for the list is now about 6,000 rows. Ücretsiz katman bir tasarım kısıtıdır. Bir gün bütün sayfalar hata verdi: ilan listesi her istekte yaklaşık 176.000 veritabanı satırı okuyordu ve günlük 5 milyon okuma kotasını bitirmişti. Eksik indeksi ekledim, sorguyu önce dar bir sıralama, sonra yalnızca bir sayfanın ayrıntısını okuyan iki adıma böldüm, ağır toplamları önbelleğe aldım ve her cevaba okunan satır sayacı koydum.
